As an art teacher (got a literal BA) melinated skin is 10000x easier to paint / draw than unmelinated. POC skin very much stays within the warm tones meanwhile white skin has blues, greens, yellows, and reds all mixed together. It’s far harder to get pale skin to look fleshy than dark skin. Also every single person who WANTS a vibrant artwork needs to throw away your black paint / black shading as that is the #1 way to get grey / muddy looking colors
