I agree with the law but what a lot of people don't understand about Tractor Trailers is that almost all company owned trucks are governed. or better explained there top speed is limited, usually 70 mph or less. they aren't doing what you described intentionally. they jump out to pass a slower truck and before they get by they hit a slight grade and loose speed, so it may take a few minutes to get around the other truck. yes I know there are exceptions to this and there are some bad drivers out there but most are just trying to get where they are going as safe and quickly as possible!

Depends on the highway, there needs to be visible signs along the highway saying left lane passing only. This way people know instead of just making a new law that no one knows just to pull people over that don’t know what it is
