I like to use a nail weight to insert into the premade hole, around 1/16 oz, also make sure to use a octopus hook instead for a better more natural presentation. Give it a couple pops and let it sink like a wacky rig. Wish you luck for the future brother, stay fishing. 🎣

Quick tip there are usually bass were bait fish are like bluegill, minnows and those other pond bait fish. So try casting where they are
