One thing I don’t understand about these AI predictions is this: if AI and robots eventually replace most human jobs, who is supposed to buy all the products and services these companies are selling? An economy only works when people earn money, spend it, and businesses earn revenue in return. If millions of people lose their income, demand collapses. And if demand collapses, even the biggest corporations lose customers. A handful of wealthy people can’t sustain an entire global economy. Businesses need millions of paying customers, not just advanced technology. AI will undoubtedly transform the way we work, but the idea that it can replace everyone without fundamentally changing the entire economic system simply doesn’t make sense to me.

Are they going to have AI customers to buy these services then? Common sense would tell them that if you replace all the workers then no one is going to have any money to spend on anything and then what would even be the point?
