I usually start with creating an outfit I'll wear during the main story quests, then I do all of the main story (maybe stopping for making other outfits when I get inspired) and then I'll do all the other event things I collect whim stars and dews while I do all of that and once I have nothing to do anymore then I start hunting after them specifically
