i feel like reading the room and understanding the idea of “time and place” and acknowleging WHO youre talking to idkk i might be dumb but i feel like it has a lot to do w js reading the room and acting accordingdly and ofc i DO believe white people have to code switch sometimes but unfortunately, society has made it that even black people have to stoop down to like white expectations (like the idea that big curly hair is unprofessional) to be respected…idk those are my two cents that no one asked for
