no they dont. they get temp HP equal to their druid level. and you keep the shape until 1. you change shape again 2. go incapacitated or 3. die.

well my druids are limited to 3 shape changes per day and become in al aspects save the mind, a reptile, bird or mammal. Each type can only be assumed but once per day; the size can be as small as a bullfrog, blue jay, or bat to as large as a large snake, an eagle, or a black bear (about double the weight of the druid).
