Why did God give you a wife who gets angry easily? Many husbands never understand this. The things you struggle to accept about her may be the very things God is using to shape you. You think she always points out problems, but God may be using her to help you see your own weaknesses. You see her attitude, but God wants you to see your own heart. A mature husband is not someone who tries to prove he is always right. He is someone who comes before God and asks: “Lord, what do You want to change in me?” The Bible says: “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it.” — Ephesians 5:25 KJV God made the husband the head, not so he could control his wife, but so he could learn to love, embrace, and take responsibility like Christ. So the next time your wife becomes emotional: Do not rush to argue. Learn to listen first. Do not rush to explain. Learn to understand first. Do not rush to protect your pride. Pray to God first. Many husbands want to change their wives, but God often chooses to change the husband through the wife.
