not really true. first off, science doesn't dictate that there's more than 3 spacial dimensions, the standard model is in 3 spacial dimensions. string theory and other theories of everything, are 7,10,11 dimensions. even then, those dimensions are only applicable in small scales. it's literally impossible of life to exist in those dimensions. too big.

It’s essentially the simulation theory. If we are being simulated by another species then we can’t see them. They are just there, in a different being of existence

I don’t really get that comparison. A 2D or 1D universe would have completely different physics from ours. We can draw or model things in 2D, but everything that actually exists in our universe is still 3D. So comparing a hypothetical 2D being to us and then using that as evidence for what a 4D being would be like doesn’t really work, because the entire foundation of physics would be different.
