@shereeneidriss: Everyone wants a skincare secret, but here’s the truth: it’s much less glamorous and it boils down to CONSISTENCY. Everyday skincare is the foundation of aging well. There is no hack. It’s the boring stuff: sunscreen, retinoids, and a routine you can actually stick to. Those habits will do more for your skin over the long term than any single cosmetic treatment ever could. Cosmetic treatments can absolutely enhance great skin, but they can never replace it. It’s the same way liposuction can’t replace a healthy diet and exercise. The best results happen when the foundation is already there. Skincare isn’t the alternative to cosmetic treatments: it’s what makes them worth doing in the first place. #40s #40sclub #40something #skincaretips

Can you discuss what treatments for deep scarring? I had shingles on my face and am left with scarring on my chin. A few deep vertical lines as well as a few deep craters. I of course use tretinoin but I know that won’t actually be the biggest help compared to maybe laser or chemical peel

But aren’t swollen puffy faces in the morning due to current or future kidney issues ?

What would you recommend for marionette lines and under eye hollowness? I have no funds for injections or surgery atm

Is it better to buffer Tret on my neck (or as I do it mix a tiny tiny tiny speck into moisturizer and apply) or use a Retinal/Retinol on the neck the same way I use my Tret on my face? I swear it has to do with shaving. My neck is always irritated from shaving and therefore it is so irritated by Tret despite using it for years.

I am confused.. I agree with a thicker moisturizer to buffer but petrolatum lets like literally nothing through or am I mistaken?😅

I have tried a lot of “deputing” eye creams over the years and nothing gets rid of it but some products I’ve used I can see a difference. So frustrating lol

I used to use retinol regularly, but unfortunately I can't anymore because I developed eczema (atopic dermatitis). Is there any hope that I'll be able to use it again someday?

I’m seriously considering the minoxidil but trying to sort out hormones first as think a large part is progesterone sensitivity (perimenopause/ HRT). BUT it’s the hair everywhere else that puts me off as already have the chin hairs happening (I’m the same age btw).
