One thing I learned in my women in medicine course in college was that women have been subjected to so much oppression and abuse because a LOT of these ideals came from religion. The very reason women weren’t studied as much as men in medicine was bc the men decided they were the better sex, which then developed into… u guessed it…. Religion! Yet back then, women were revered and equal. What happened to men’s brains within this time frame?
