@smrttrainssg: We recently held our tri-annual Trains Awards🏆 on 8 July 2026 to recognise #OurSMRT colleagues who go above and beyond in Safety & Security, Kaizen, and Service Excellence. Mr Lam Sheau Kai, SMRT Trains President, presented the awards to all 228 recipients. 🥇One of them was the Track Infrastructure Maintenance team, who received the Service Excellence Award.💫 As the team was loading their equipment after completing overnight works, they noticed an elderly man who had fallen on the road nearby. Some attended to him. Others managed traffic. They stayed with him until the ambulance arrived. They received the Service Excellence Award, a fitting recognition for a team that puts service and people first. A special thank you to K9Assistance (Limited), who shared how assistance dogs support their handlers and move calmly through public spaces. Sessions like these help us better understand the needs within our community, and reflect our commitment to inclusive, commuter-centred service.💛 👏Congratulations to all our award recipients.
