I think the list is a good thing to have. It’s not meant to dehumanize pregnancy but to show the realities of pregnancy and what it can look like. And yeah it’s scary, why wouldn’t it be scary. EVERYONE should be terrified of pregnancy because it can go many ways. Some ways good and other ways bad. You have to be prepared for both and that’s what the list is

I had extra amniotic fluid that made me look HUGE 😂 THEN I had a pin hole leak because we noticed the fluid slowly, very slowly, declining in an ultrasound and from there was sent to have my girl. She had so much room in there I couldn't feel her flip around. Only always just felt the movement from stretching. She apparently flipped during my inducement and I had to push a baby butt first out because when I felt that pressure of coming she was right there with her little cheeks trying to peak out 🤣🤣 I can only imagine and wish I knew what my bump would have sounded and looked like when I saw your video because damn that pregnancy was an experience 😂😂

Yall for my third baby I did a home birth. I was sitting in a “bottomless” chair ready to push, midwife is a sweet older lady kneeled down in front of me and I give a hard push and POP. My water exploded all over her 😭😭

i don't think the list itself is the problem, because at its core, it is meant to raise awareness about the sides of pregnancy that few talk about. what's problematic is the people who comment rude things thinking they're being funny or just plain being thoughtless about their words

Mine broke and so much came out I said “there’s no way there anymore in there” it soaked through the bed and was all over the floor under the bed so I had the nurse do a cervix check and turns out it resealed itself didn’t even know that could happen and it broke a few hrs later again and just as much as the first time came out AGAIN

I think one of the big reasons we’re so scared of it is because we literally don’t see it!!!!!!! It’s soooo so so good to show this stuff to women who haven’t gone through it because it normalizes it. I’m glad I know what I know now cuz now I’m more informed !!!!!!!!!
