We were so impressed… and it was OUTSTANDING and quick to make! When our kids are at college, they live a pretty conservative life when it comes to food with their meal plan limiting their options. So when it’s one of our kid’s night to cook dinner, they you don’t hold back on ingredients. @Harry Weil favorite food is fettuccini Alfredo w/chicken until he discovered making it with steak… so tonight he knocked it out out of the park with this one! STEAK ALFREDO RIGATONI INGREDIENTS Steak • 3 ribeye steaks • 3 tsp kosher salt • 2 tsp paprika • 2 tsp garlic powder • 2 tsp onion powder • 1 tsp black pepper • Olive oil • Butter + garlic, for basting Alfredo • 20 cloves garlic, minced • 1 stick butter • 1 quart heavy whipping cream • 2 cups freshly grated Parmesan • Salt + black pepper, to taste • 2 lbs rigatoni • Fresh parsley, minced • Parmesan, for topping DIRECTIONS 1. Season ribeyes evenly with salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper. 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear the steaks until deeply browned, then add butter and garlic and baste until cooked to your liking. Remove and let rest. 3. Keep all those steak drippings in the pan. Add the minced garlic and butter and cook until fragrant. 4. Add the heavy cream and simmer, stirring occasionally, until slightly reduced and creamy. Season with salt and pepper. 5. Stir in the Parmesan until melted and smooth. 6. Cook rigatoni separately in salted water until al dente. Drain and toss with the Alfredo sauce. 7. Slice the ribeyes and serve over the pasta. Finish with fresh minced parsley and plenty of Parmesan. #alfredopasta #steak #steakbites #collegelife #DinnerIdeas
