We just moved from Oregon 5 months ago same type of weather as Seattle and its been amazing seeing the ☀️☀️!! Its our first summer here We prefer the 116 than 9-10 months of gloom!!!

I grew up in Parker Arizona and spent my summers in Paradise Valley. I've been in many different places in Arizona and it's diverse culture is amazing too. I grew up on an Indian reservation with amazing people. I'm so happy you moved here 💯😁

Moved here from Wyoming and people never have anything nice to say when people move here. It’s just like how you are holed up in winter except it’s summer here. And 100 is a cool summer day lol.

Good clarification cause I grew up in Bothell and I only associate with Seattle by location and sports teams. Big difference from Eastside and Downtown Sea. I do miss the staying light until 9 though

I use to live in Seattle for 7 years, Ballard, between Green Lake and Golden Gardens. Seattle is beautiful. I loved it. I'm in Flagstaff. Not as hot. 2 of my favorite places Seattle,WA & Flagstaff, AZ. 🥰

Welcome to Arizona! I will assume you moved to Phoenix since you mentioned the 100° summers. When it’s really hot, just repeat this mantra. We don’t have hurricanes, we don’t have earthquakes, we don’t have snow. 😂😎 The last one isn’t true for the northern part of the state, of course.

We live in the Portland area (not the city) and are going to Arizona next month to look at homes. We chose the hottest time on purpose to get a feel for it. We’re originally from a very hot area in California so we get it kind of. But I agree about the dark, grey, gloomy weather in the PNW.
