@stalkers.canada: Martin Ly of Vaughan, Ontario, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder following the fatal stabbing of his wife, Thi Nguyen, in North York. Toronto Police allege the killing occurred inside a residential high-rise near Fairview Mall Drive and Don Mills Road. Police responded on the afternoon of July 18, 2026, after receiving reports of a person armed with a knife. Officers located Nguyen in a hallway suffering from multiple stab wounds. Despite emergency life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators later confirmed that Nguyen and Ly were married. Police allege Ly fled the building before officers arrived, prompting a homicide investigation that quickly identified him as the suspect. Ly was arrested on July 19, 2026 in Vaughan and charged with first-degree murder.
