I did the home dialysis for about a year then I got an infection and my dr put me back in the dialysis facility. Been back 4 yrs now. It sucks

PD 6 days a week . No thank you plus all the boxes amd fluid . better 3 days a week and way less time

Went to 3 different vascular surgeons. All refused a pd catheter. I was deemed ineligible 3 different times.

I do hemo at home thru a fistula. I have a 5th wheel camper my machine is set up in so I can travel for work. PD was was one of the worst experiences of my life. I am so happy it worked for you. and that we have options. if one thing doesn't work.

I did dialysis at home and when the Covid came out, I got an infection so I had an infection and I had Covid. I almost died but doing at home was the best I tried to redo it four times surgery to fix the tube in my stomach, but I have too much scar tissue so they couldn’t redo it now I’m at the dialysis center but it’s OK. I used to cry when I first went, but not no more. It’s not gonna take over me. Good luck.

I’ve done PD since the start till I got an infection and they pulled my port for 3-4 months and went to hemo and hemo is not for me at all Zoe is soooo nice

It’s not at all. 9 hours vs 4 and a pallet of fluid in your house and having to sterilize a room and if you have pets forget it. The only benefit is you can travel
