@newswav: A recent video has been making the rounds online after a man was hit in the face by an individual wearing a Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) uniform. In the widely shared clip, the man can be seen lying on the ground, believed to be drunk, when the individual in the PDRM uniform approaches him and appears to smack him in the face before running off and hiding. The slap startled the man and woke him, after which he asked why he was being hit. The incident was reportedly recorded by someone believed to be the alleged officer’s acquaintance, who then told the man that he hadn’t been hit and had actually fallen instead. At the time of writing, authorities have yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
