I’m selling a house I built for $365k in 2022 for $550k and buying a larger brand new build for $500k, in 10 years that house I buy now will be $700k. Realestate always goes up.

I just closed 2 weeks ago. It is what it is. If it dips fine, crashes fine. I needed a home and made sure I picked the neighborhood and ISD I wanted to be in for over a decade.

For those stating a housing market “crash” is coming they are wrong. You can’t draw a drastic conclusion like that from a single data point. Is a housing market “correction” coming? Very likely the case, but there will be no “crash” like 2008-2010 where prices dropped 30%+ nationwide.
