I chose the title Before We Forget How To Connect because connection is the real reason I care so deeply about this work. As a child, connection was the thing I felt starved of. I didn’t yet have the words, the confidence, or the skills to bridge the space between myself and the people around me. As a grown man now, I see connection as one of the most important things we can create in our lives, because it is at the centre of so much of our joy, love, fulfilment, opportunity and belonging.
