How did the family take it? Definitely scary for the boy but also happens so easily, with dogs of any size just yours are obviously especially intimidating together 😅

Too bad there are so many horror dog attacks in the Thai news that people get scared of them only by their appearances. Your dogs seem to be more well-behaved than most chihuahuas to be honest 🤣

typical rottie thinking everyone wants to play with them 😂😂😂 my rottie is exactly the same! we dont off leash our rottie any more purely just because yes he has a good recall but he can loose focus and he will get over excited

Good socialization practice, especially with the little boy. Very scary for him and you but that’s how we learn. Kids are so good if you have them around. 🥰🥰🥰 Real life, real drama

I have a pataidale and walking in the park when this English terrier came was attacking my dogs then I had to walk home with two dogs

They should be on leads at all times. Saying that you still wouldn't be able to control them if they kicked off. Should be muzzled. Not worth the risk

Thank you for sharing your experiences do honestly. It makes me feel better to know mine isn’t the only one that can make the wrong decision at times. I feel for your one though as he was picking up on the nervous energy of the kid. Barking doesn’t indicate aggression - it was more likely fearful reactivity. I wouldn’t have the confidence to let Patch off the leash in busy places yet so good on you for exposing them to these opportunities - it’s just an unfortunate isolated incident so don’t beat yourself up.

unfortunately you should keep all on leads though they are good with recall but they come across very intimidating you don't know people's reactions example of that little boy ..
