@archon_202: #PNGCHiefs Former Sydney Roosters star and New Zealand Kiwis representative Joseph Manu touched down just after midday in Port Moresby today, Monday, July 20. He arrived with his family. Manu refrained from speaking to waiting media and was whisked away soon after arrival. The 30-year-old is regarded as one of the game's most accomplished outside backs. Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Manu made his NRL debut with the Sydney Roosters in 2016 and went on to win two premierships with the club in 2018 and 2019. After the 2024 season, he switched codes to rugby union, first playing in Japan before joining French club Racing 92. His visit to Port Moresby has fuelled speculation that he is being considered as a marquee signing for the PNG Chiefs ahead of the club's entry into the NRL in 2028. #Josephmanu #Pngchiefs #Pngnr2028 #Papuanewguinea
