I started wearing my school uniform on mufti day, what casual clothes day was called, because one year there was a boy who wore his school uniform because his mum wouldn’t give him money for it and he didn’t have nice clothes to wear anyway. So every time we had that day, I wore my uniform so he wasn’t alone. We both got bullied relentlessly and unfortunately when we were 17 he took his life 🥺 it’s because of this that I now send my own child with extra money so that he can cover the donation for any kids who need it. He now helps 3 kids every time there’s an out of uniform day cause we know that their parents just simply can’t afford it.

When they made us practice dancing (with boys!!!) for grade 7 “formal”/graduation. I actually cried. They were like “don’t you want your parents to see you know all these dances?” Nope. Not if it means touching a BOY. Had to relieve it in grade 10 for same reasons and cried again from the anxiety/flashback lol
