if she was just dropping off her grandma, why did she feel the need to park there? also, parking in a handicap space shouldn't require an arrest; she literally said she was going to move. the cop escalated this situation to more than what it needed to be.

I as a handicap 77 yr old man l get quickly riled by people parking in the handicap parking place. It makes me even more angry when someone is sitting in the car in the driver seat. But in this case that white cop is out of control. The lady immediately volunteered to re-park, that should have been the end of it.

My mom is handicapped with a placard but if I drive her then I let her out at the door of the store then go park in regular parking spot and pull the car back up at the door to get my mom back in the car because I know there are other handicapped people who are out alone & need to spot.
