@gyaviiralubowassebina: Following numerous concerns raised by residents and local leaders regarding the persistent lack of electricity and the absence of transformers in areas including Nyendo Welcome, Mukudde, and surrounding communities, I joined area councillors in engaging the Regional UEDCL offices to seek immediate solutions. The prolonged power outage has greatly affected businesses and livelihoods, causing significant losses to our people. I am pleased to report that UEDCL has assured us that they have been working tirelessly to address the challenge and have already procured a new transformer for Nyendo, which is scheduled for installation tomorrow, 21st July 2026. I thank the residents for their patience and the UEDCL team for their responsiveness. I will continue to closely follow up on this matter to ensure that reliable electricity is restored and that our communities receive the services they deserve. #TemulyaEmbidde
