In a social media post, English said that she was ‘really grateful to have been a part of Tides of Annihilation since the game’s inception,’ but recently found herself needing to ‘slow down.’ ‘I’ve realised I need to take time to rest and properly look after my mental and physical health,’ she said. ‘With that in mind, I’ve made the difficult - yet personally necessary - decision to step away from the project as it moves into its next phase.’ Posting to X, studio Eclipse Glow Games said that, with English’s support and recommendation alongside others in the voice cast, a new actor has been found for Gwendolyn. ‘We'd also like to thank Jennifer for everything she brought to the character and to the project.,’ the post said. ‘Her performance brought depth, strength, vulnerability, and heart to the role.
