(upset - feeling Adj) ကျွန်မ စာမေးပွဲကျတယ်ဆိုတာကြားလို့ စိတ်မကောင်းဘူး။ (I was being upset when I … … ❌ ) #Example 2 - I am delighted to hear that you have won the first prize. မင်း ပထမဆုရတယ်ကြားလို့ ငါဝမ်းသာတယ်။ (delighted - feeling Adj) ( I am being delighted … …❌ ) 👉 Being + past participle (V3) 👈 အသုံးပြုပုံ ✡ Passive form of Past and Present continuous (… ကို … … နေသည်) ( V-be + being + V3 ) am/is/are/was/were + being + V3 1 - Mother is cooking dinner. (Active) မေမေ ညစာချက်နေသည်။ - Dinner is being cooked by mother. (Passive) ညစာကို မေမေ ချက်နေသည်။ 2 - They are repairing the roof. (Active) သူတို့ ခေါင်မိုးပြင်ဆင်နေသည်။ - The roof is being repaired. (Passive) ခေါင်မိုးကို ပြင်ဆင်နေကြသည်။ 3 - I am quite sure that somebody is following me. (Active) တစ်ယောက်ယောက် ငါ့နောက်ကို လိုက်နေတာ သေချာတယ်။ - I am quite sure that I am being followed. (Passive) ငါ့ကို တစ်ယောက်ယောက် နောက်ကလိုက်နေတာ သေချာတယ်။ 👉 Being in participle clauses 👈 အသုံးပြုပုံ - ✡ ''Since / Because / As'' clause များအစား Being ကို သုံးနိုင်သည်။ 'ကြောင့်/လို့' ဟု အဓိပ္ပါယ်ရသည်။ formal or literary style တွင် အဓိကသုံးသည်။ 1 - Being late, he couldn’t watch the movie. (= Because he is late, he couldn’t watch the movie.) နောက်ကျလို့ ရုပ်ရှင်မကြည့်နိုင်ခဲ့ဘူး။ 2 - Being a friend of the Minister, I am often invited to official parties.
