as a millennial raised by boomers who has their own feelings about pimple patches, i'll explain it. we're all jealous we didn't have that option, but boomers don't know how to process and communicate their feelings, so it all comes out as anger directed at someone else.

It’s because a lot of them lived their entire life ashamed of their pimples/acne. And constantly had to cake their face and or hide it. So seeing younger people just put a sticker on it and not being ashamed of it is weird to them.

I’m GenX, and I do hate that we didn’t have them when I was a teenager, but I am happy that my GenZ daughter gets to have that option. I’m also glad I have them now that I’m going through perimenopause and my skin has no idea what it’s supposed to do. I rock those pimple patches in all shapes now. My favorites are cats. 🐱
