The thing about “the Lord not delighting in sacrifices” is misrepresented by Abram. 1 Samuel 15:22 says that the Lord does not delight in sacrifices as much as he delights in obedience. This is to teach us that God is more interested in our heart posture than merely offering sacrifices. Certainly it is being communicated that a sincere heart that offers a sacrifice is of more value to God. Hebrews understanding this, and applying the Greek septugiant, knows that Christ in OBEDIENCE offered himself as an eternal sacrifice, which is able to take away the sins of mankind forever. God does not care about our sacrifices if our heart is away from him, we even learn this from Cain and Abel. Abram is mistaken again

The truth is God has never wanted sacrifices but our obedience. Using blood as a sacrifice was for the remission of sin. Hebrews 9:22-28KJV And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

The Hebrews thing is not the writer of Hebrew “lying” and “trying to fit words into Jesus’ mouth”. The writer of Hebrews used the Greek septugiant, which was the common and well known document that his audience would be familiar with. This Greek septugiant renders the Psalm text as “a body you prepared for me” which is in line with what Hebrews writes. This is different from the way the Masoretic Hebrew text words it that wasn’t common in the setting of the author of Hebrews. So Abram is mistaken, two things can be true at the same time.
