I love my natural hair but I have to cut it today. I am losing all my hair and it pains me so much! If I want to buy wigs, it’ll be the type that resembles our hair type. Whether you accept or not, internalized racism is why many black women will never wear their own natural hair or buy wigs that looks like it. It’s that simple. They won’t even wear braids! Add classicism to the list😅

I have always worn my natural hair out, I rarely even braid 😅, I recently went camping with my natural hair alone, it just looks so good 😊 and I honestly got so much compliments and turning of heads from so many people.

I've been teaching my four year old daughter that her hair, the hair that grows from her scalp is the most beautiful hair she could ever have. Lately, she's been going "mummy, buy me a wig... a very long one so that I'll look cute when I wear it"... haaaa! I just knew it was time to teach her how beautiful her afro is. She has full, thick and tall natural hair. I just want my child to understand that she's terrifically beautiful with her natural hair.
