Very good explanation. The rest of Ontario needs to be mobilized to stop this idiotic plan! Even those of us as far as Ottawa oppose this. The cost will affect everyone and I am sure the increased jet traffic will affect people all along Lake Ontario plus the costs. Not to mention, mant of us love visiting Toronto to enjoy its waterfront and the Islands, which are a gem. This idea is nonsensical. And I fear the $5 billion dollar cost is way underestimated. Why would be subsidizing an American company that runs the airport because it has a failed business plan. Isn't that how capitalism works? You win some you lose some? Not the taxpayer subsidizing thwm, right?
