I can still feel him in my arms as I carried him to the car with the vet at my side. They had a little basket and let me tuck him in “one more time” before they took him away. I know he was suffering but it broke me in a way I didn’t know was possible.

friend, I hear your pain, when my soul cat crossed, I thought I would die from broken heart syndrome...when I was younger I worked at a chimp rescue and we had an animal communicator on staff that helped share wisdom on animals crossing..so I watched every animal communicator post on here..especially around pet loss...I can tell you that their posts really let me know there's no death, just change in frequency...that our companions never really leave us, they just change into their magnificent light bodies...perhaps you can look for these posts and see if they help your heart??? Your companion is right there with you now, loving up on you still...part of your soul family... and that bond is forever 🙏🙏🙏

Same. It’s about to be 2 years and it’s still hard. My Gizmo gave me 16 years. He looks like yours. So I’d like to think they’re playing in heaven. Crazy how death doesn’t seem as scary anymore. Just my take on it. 💔

I opened this app and thought I seen my fur baby sitting right in front of me, smiling at me. I lost him almost a year ago this month. Seeing your fur baby reminds me so much of mine. The pain haunts you, it’s unbearable sometimes but you learn to live with it. Some days are easier and some days it feels like you’re living that day all over again..and some days you’re glad that they’re painless, young and free again. On days like that you learn to appreciate the memories and love them across the rainbow bridge.

Im so sorry for your loss. Losing a them is incredibly difficult because they’re an integral part of our daily lives. I can’t promise that things will get easier because you’ll always miss them, but I encourage you to cherish the wonderful moments you shared with them and keep their memory alive in your heart and spirit.
