주차 후 도보10분이면 갈 수 있는 대구 전망대 마음이 답답할 때 탁 트인 풍경 보며 힐링하고 싶은데, 힘든 등산이나 케이블카를 타야 하는 번거로움 때문에 발길이 떨어지지 않아 망설이신 적 있으신가요? 하지만 이곳은 주차 후 도보 10분만 올라가면 대구에서 가장 높은 전망대에 닿을 수 있습니다. 바로, 팔공산 정상 비로봉 아래에 자리한 팔공산하늘정원입니다. 해발 최소 1,000m 이상의 높이에서 파노라마처럼 펼쳐지는 산 능선은 물론이고, 대구 군위군과 영천시 그리고 구미시 일대까지 한눈에 내려다 볼 수 있습니다. 팔공산하늘정원 정자에서 바라보는 풍경도 좋지만, 원효굴로 이어지는 데크길도 꼭 가보시길 바랍니다. 200m만 더 가면 또 다른 웅장한 풍경이 펼쳐집니다. *참고로 이곳에는 군사시설이 있기 때문에, 사진이나 영상을 담으실 때는 꼭 풍경 위주로만 담으셔야 합니다. 팻말에도 사진을 찍지 말라고 되어있는데, 직접 군부대에 통화해본 결과 군사시설만 나오지 않으면 괜찮다는 답변을 받았습니다. *입산할 수 있는 시간은 정해져있습니다. 하절기(4월~ 10월) 04:00~ 16:00 / 동절기(11~ 3월) 05:00~ 15:00입니다. 참고로 동절기에는 도로 상태가 자주 결빙이 되기 때문에 차로 오를 수 있는 기회는 하절기밖에 없다고 보면 됩니다. This is the Palgongsan Sky Garden, nestled right beneath Birobong Peak, the mountain's summit. Standing at an elevation of over 1,000 meters, you are treated to a sweeping panorama of mountain ridges, with a bird's-eye view stretching across Gunwi-gun, Yeongcheon, and Gumi. The scenery from the Sky Garden pavilion is stunning, but you should definitely take the wooden deck trail leading to Wonhyogul Cave. Walk just 200 meters further, and another breathtaking view awaits. *Note: Since there is a military base nearby, please make sure to only shoot the natural scenery. Although there are "No Photography" signs, I personally called the base and they confirmed it's perfectly fine to take photos or videos as long as the military facilities aren't in the frame. *Operating hours are restricted. Summer (Apr–Oct): 04:00–16:00 / Winter (Nov–Mar): 05:00–15:00.
