I couldn't agree more. This is actually a strategy I recommend to young couples I work with. It can be the fastest way to get to financial freedom and buy time for the family especially when the business is scalable.. My only caution is usually that both couples should never lose sight of why they are doing it. The goal isn't for one spouse to carry the family while the other "follows their passion." The goal is for both spouses to make a temporary sacrifice to create lasting freedom for the family. That requires both parties to stay equally committed, equally appreciative of each others sacrifices and equally focused on the shared vision.
