or you can just read the info about the masks? you're recognized by your outfit. the game literally explains how masks work. put the mask on before you enter, rob the place, then leave. change your outfit via your horse, and boom. no bounty🙄

Makes don’t do that much back then u can still see the person eyes and hair also cowboys are always known and recognized by they infamous hats they wear seeing these things up close do not make it hard for law men they have seen bounty posters of outlaws multiple times vary easy to put two and two together

wild guess here, but: maybe during play testing they decided it was way too easy to just put a mask on, rob & k*ll everybody, and theb skedaddle out of town with zero consequences. when a game lacks any challenge, it loses a bit of players' perceived enjoyment. In rdr1 wearing a mask prevents any honor loss because John cares about how other people see him but in rdr2 Arthur doesn’t care about how others see him he cares about how he sees himself

um no when u get a bounty while wearing a mask u wont be pursued by bounty hunters or by law if seen by either its only when u are finally seen nor wearing the mask commiting a crime the bountry is slapped on u in full

im pretty sure red dead was coded to where if u get in trouble in a outfit or even your horse thats how the police know its you if you fully change your outfit and dont use your horse till outta sight you wont get spotted at all used to rob the back rooms of businesses like this
