if there's a local mosque, head there and ask for help. you don't need to be muslim, just let them know you're homeless. they will feed you

As a hotel employee, idk why they act like all that food is gonna get eaten anyways! As long as no one’s causing a scene I see nothing!!

Hampton Inn has “breakfast to go” bags that they just leave out in the lobby near their dining area and it’s mean for guests to just grab and go and it’s so easy for anyone walking into the Hampton inn lobby in the morning to just take one 🥰🥰🥰 hope this helps someone.

You just gotta go in like you belong. Clean up a little (first sign you’re homeless is appearance and management/fd looks at that) , ditch the backpack or bags for the time being, and mind your own. Eat breakfast and then leave. The issue is y’all get caught when you overstay your welcome or look raggedy.

great tip for people who rlly need it, but please for the love of god blend in, as a front desk agent i would literally get fired for letting non guests eat if it isn’t plausible that you yourself aren’t a guest 😭😭😭

If you have a local Gurdwara (Sikh temple) they will feed you for free. It will be high quality home cooked vegetarian food. There will be no questions asked. Remove your shoes and cover your head. Serving others and eating communally is a huge part of the religion.

we used to have a homeless lady "sneak" in grab a coffee, a piece of fruit and a bagel then leave, no one ever stopped her until we got our new agm and he threw her out

Also churches!! my church takes food donations for charity or the homeless every so often and if you call or even walk into most of them usually have stuff!!
