its actually the opposite on my end, back when i was studying, i received so much soft treatment to the point that studying was more fun than arguing with your parents, to the point that school was my safe haven than my own home.

In my internship, I know that I needed to be strict but at the same time I wanted to be that teacher that every student needed. I mixed being strict and also getting along with them to set boundaries and comfortability. From my personal experience and based from what I saw from their finished activities; it was fairly effective. Of course, this can’t be applied to all schools. Wala lang skl haha

i always wanted ti be the strict teacher, pero last time when my student did not take his midterm exam and sabi ko, di nako magbibigay ng chance sa mga di nakapagtake but when i saw him my heart softened kaya i ask him bakit di sya nakatake ng midterm namin, yun pala may problema and yes, i gave him a chance. sometimes, we just need to know the reason of them and understands that once in our life we also a student like them ~

and that’s okay, sir💖 I tried to be strict, pero kapag di fit sa personality, nafi-feel din nila that you’re a soft-hearted person. I appreciate those students who are still respectful even if they’re not always reminded. I shared with them that in a classroom, they need different types of teachers, but all are special in their own way, since I don’t want to be their favorite if it leads to them hating another teacher. I teach them that all teachers should be respected. The result is that they always smile when they see you since you are very approachable, sweet, and a softie by heart🥰

during my interview sa current school ko, i was once asked by our former SD of what kind of teacher i'll be. i smiled and answered her with, "i won't be perfect, no one is. but, i will become the teacher i once needed when i was a student" and i am almost three years now happily living with that mantra. and i think my kids could attest to it as well. 💖

omg! this is so trueee! like ket anong pilit ko, yung softness and humor ko yung lumalabas, kaya minsan, di ko napapansin, hindi na pala lesson ang nadidiscuss ko, it's actually beyond the lessons na, wherein i'm teaching them already the life lessons na natutuhan ko all throughout my whole journey to where I came from and up to now.🫰🫀

yon nga di ko kayang maging authoritarian all the damn time kasi gen z you know fresh grad alam ko yong feeling ma inignore ng teacher and I don’t want to experience to feel left out. Sobrang love ko ang teaching kaya sabi ko never ko papa experience sa students ko yong negative na nararamdaman at naranasan ko. I want them to feel safe to have an ear when they needed one, to have a voice when they can’t speak, and also I want them to feel included all the time. Sana maintindihan yon ng teachers lalo na yong mga season teachers. Thank you I found this in my fyp
