@samaitken2: Whether you're building to minimum code or chasing a higher-performance build, it's worth understanding the different options available and where they make sense. One product I'd been keen to learn more about is VapourBand Pre-Compressed Expansion Foam Tape by VapourSeal. It expands to fill the gap around window and door frames, creating an airtight, weather-resistant and vapour-permeable seal without the trimming or overspray that can come with traditional expanding foam.
