Just wanted to quickly say thank you for your page and videos, Anna! ❤️I’m 38 and about to be assessed for autism, and the Tudors (particularly Henry VIII’s reign) have been a special interest/hyper-focus of mine since I was in primary school. I ended up going into the legal sector in the end but I’ve really been enjoying binging your videos and learning tons of new things again, really glad you came up on my FYP ☺️all the best for your PhD!

“What the hell am I doing applying to Oxford”. I said something similar with glasgow uni as I was form a poorer part of scotland..:. My school teacher kept telling me all they could say is no. You can’t get rejected if you don’t apply… I did get an offer but i did change my direction. But it always sticks with me.

Thank you for this. I’ve got a history degree and have been primary teaching but I’ve had a crisis of confidence and now feel like I want to retrain. But I love history, and want to do something more with this. I might explore expanding my knowledge and skills and see where it leads
