We were there in April 2026, we wanted go to to the Grotto but I had reservations bcs I don’t know how to swim. After seeing this I’m so glad we didn’t do this excursion. I would have definitely panicked! I’m glad you all are safe.

They don’t operate tours there unless it’s safe. They had to ask a sketchy third party to go despite safety warnings for the day. Official tour guides wouldn’t have gone in those conditions. I’ve been to capri twice and haven’t gotten to go to the blue grotto because the official operators weren’t going due to safety reasons.

I’ve been to Capri twice. The first time they canceled our tour because the seas were too rough. The second time we went in and it was spectacular. 10/10- would do it again in a heartbeat.
