I’d consider myself a right leaning person, but the fact that people threw a fit over casting a black woman for a five minute part(which honestly makes the story make more sense rather than if she’s just another white Greek woman) and a transgender person who I didn’t even know was trans until I googled who Elliot page was post movie is really upsetting.

when i saw the usual crowd crying their eyes out AGAIN about a black woman being cast as an imaginary person and that a movie with a cyclops wasn't historically accurate, I just knew it was going to be good. I was so right.

Two things can be true. Lupita and Ellen Page were awful casting choices however the movie is visually stunning, Nolan is an incredible director and we can look past those decisions to appreciate this movie’s greatness
