Reading the comments made me realize how narcissistic humans can be, feeling natin tayo lang nakatira sa mundong to para hindi magkaroon ng pake sa ibang nabubuhay. Kung carriers ang mga daga ng sakit, bakit sila ang dapat mag adjust? hindi ba't dapat tayong mga tao kase tayo ang may consciousness sa mga bagay na ito? isa pa, hindi naman napapasa ang leptospirosis kapag humawak ka ng daga, nalilipat lang ito kapag may open wound ka or nakagat.

Before anything, the concerns are valid. But what I commend here is that the compassion of these kids not just to this rat but possible and/or most likely to OTHER animals as well. Even these kids themselves knew the possible consequences of their actions.
