What about combo fed babies? I give my baby 1 bottle of formula a day while all other feeds are breastfed

In WA this is just not a thing, which I find wild. My baby is 14m now but I remember when he was really little reading about this and being shocked it was recommended all over the country but not here, like not one nurse, midwife, dr or CHN mentioned vitamin D! I gave him drops through his probiotics but honestly wouldn’t have had a clue if I hadn’t gone looking!

My son is 11 months old and both my dr and the dermatologist were aware that babies need vitamin D drops. Other friends who also live in Sydney were never told to provide it to their child. We both breastfed and apparently all babies need it, not just breastfed.

your advice is always so helpful! currently nagging husband daily to give them and he always forgets. I refuse to administer myself after making her choke on them last time. this has me less worried since I take vitamin d myself. will nag him less but we will still administer

Had my sons levels test when he was 1 after reading the link between low levels and eczema and his were very low and once his levels were fixed his eczema drastically improved going from severe and very hard to manage to mild and easy to manage.
