my issue is the more I make money the more the govnement wants. its depressing while you see coucil house with nice cars, decent things in their home and we middle class are shaffted

This is why you need to take advantage of the years you live with your parents this is exactly what me and my gf are doing while we don't have any major bills at the end of each month we take the money we have before we get paid and half it one half goes into a life time isa for a deposit for a house the second goes into a emergency savings so instead of saving £50 a month we are both saving around 500 each you don't necessarily need the money when your young leave yourself £50-£100 a week for going out depending on how much you earn and what you pay your parents save the rest within 12 months you could have 6grand

I honestly don’t understand how anyone can save £10k. I work full time and by the time I’ve paid my rent, council tax, other bills and food, there’s literally nothing left. I go into my overdraft every month without fail, but then clear it once I get paid my salary, but it’s a constant cycle. I could probably put aside about £20 per month into a separate account if I cut down on my food expenditure, but in reality, that would take me about 40 years to save £10k! 🤣

I would advise anyone younger to save as much as they can cut out things they don't need and are not essential

The corrupt government has made it so the only way to live a comfortable life in Britain is to stop work and go on benefits. They will pay for your housing, energy and food and you can just play Xbox all day. If you work they will just take it all in tax to fund the lazy. Can’t blame the people either, they are just using the broken system created by the stupid government to their advantage.
