@allisonmckail: i’ve never fit in a box a day in my life. I’ve always been too much, too loud, too aggressive. funny how these same traits get called passionate and assertive when they show up in a man. I have a fine arts degree and a decade of coaching hundreds of people on how to get strong as fuck. I play volleyball, I thrift, garden, paddleboard, I love live music, festivals, and there’s not a whole lot I won’t say no to. ((except sharing my bed.)) I have a very real life and I want very real things. I’m not built for small talk, I want your 3 AM deepest darkest confessions. It’s been a long time trying to force myself into what I was told a “fitness coach” should be. Turns out I’m the furthest thing from it, and honestly it’s a compliment. I’m not here to shove the kind of advice down your throat you need to research article to prove. I’m more a common sense girly meets the science, because humans aren’t robot and the “right” science doesn’t mean shit if it doesn’t meet people where they actually are. I’ve always presented myself as a human first and that’s exactly the same way I coach my clients. Fitness is my career. It’s not everything I am, same way. I’ll never ask that fitness & your wellness become all that you are. so yeah - you can put baby in a corner but good luck putting allison in a box ◡̈
