things i learned/experienced when i deactivated my account 7 years now: 1. i no longer take pictures for the sake of updating my socials or for the sake letting people know how my life have been lately. 2. i no longer have the need to constantly deactivate my account or change my pfp for the sake of letting people know my current state in life or my current mood. 3. i no longer have the interest in knowing other people's day to day life or their life in general. 4. i no longer care about making a curated identity on socials because i no longer have the ability to please an audience. 5. i no longer care if i'm relevant or not in other people's life because, i as well, no longer care about them.

Man, the peace that comes with controlling your social media. I deleted fb app three years ago and only kept Instagram for reels. Three years later, I still only have 45 followers, and I’ve never been more at peace.
