My Cav does this too. I ended up putting it on a small dinner plate and use a tiny bit of salmon oil for my picky eater ✨

My grandpuppy did this. He will now eat from his bowl... as long as it has a cherry on top!-- By "cherry", I mean a little dollop of wet food on top (sensitive stomach so he can't have very much of it). If you forget the cherry, he will look at you will those Cavi eyes... the eyes of a thousand Cavi souls that were abused, starving and neglected. Yep, those eyes win- every single time 😳

My cavi refuses to eat out of a bowl I think she doesn’t like putting her nose in the food so I now spread her food on a licky mat and she chomps away at it 😉

Mine does this to and he is teaching the little one to do the same. She wants to eat out of her bowl, i see her longing look at it, but nope she patiently waits her turn to be hand fed. Monsters. Spoiled, cute little monsters.

Do they have a charm or something metal on their collar? One of my dogs was like this and switched them to a plastic bowl and it stopped. Seems like they didn’t like the noise their collar made against their bowl.

Mine used to do that to me. I started giving him his food in the cone toys… so he would eat. Now no issues🥰🥰🥰
