UPDATE (I had to dig deep) he is NOT the father. He had to ultimately come out that he was gay and they truly never had sex. The mom’s distrust in the son has led to OPs marriage separation, but not yet ended. OP hopes to save the marriage. Son is living far away and now dating a nice man ✌️

There's an easy way to figure out if he's lying. It may not be safe to do a paternity test until the child is born (I'm not up to date on current medical tech in that area), but eventually, they can find out for sure. 🙄

idk hes clearly shown himself to be a liar idk if I'd believe him plus, you may not be able to get a paternity test until after the birth i think its better just in case to support the girl but dont get too close and after the paternity test, either really bond or cut her off

Listen. That poor child is going to bear the lions share of the responsibly forever so for now - believe the girl. Do what you can to help support her until you can do a paternity test. That son sounds unreliable AF.
