Yeah, so instead of this being a joke and laughing, this is actually how 90% of our corporations are set up nowadays so if you’re wondering why your favorite place changed it’s because the people in leadership don’t know how to run the company.

Actual hot take, your higher ups don’t need to be as proficient at something as you are. That’s why they hire staff who are good at those individual jobs. Why tf would Zuckerburg need to know how to code software, he HIRES PEOPLE WHO ARE SPECIALISTS to do that, and he does his completely different job that he’s good at. I would be embarrassed if I was at a place where my individual position could be done by everyone else and I brought nothing valuable to the table. That’s the difference between a job and a career (with some exceptions I’m sure)

Really need to hire from within the company, someone on the outside only has textbook knowledge and not practical knowledge.

Perfect example of corporate. Quit hiring people off the street who have never done the job. Promote within and watch people be happier.

Managers should absolutely know how to perform every role. You should be able to step in and help your people. Yet they all wonder why turnover is so high when they aren’t supporting their staff. Ffs
