@steven: Everyone's rushing to build "AI businesses." Alex Hormozi says that's the mistake. He breaks down 3 ways entrepreneurs are approaching AI right now: 1. Starting an AI company, which is overused and usually a bad bet. Without owning unique data that improves the product over time, there's nothing stopping someone else from copying it. 2. Using AI inside an existing business to run it, which ultimately leads to operating faster and leaner he argues is massively underused 3. Pretending to be a "human company" while quietly running AI in the back His point is that your customers don't care that you use AI - they care about the outcome. His example puts this into perspective - nobody wants a drill, they want a hole in the wall. So build the plumbing company that uses AI. Don't build the "AI plumbing company." #ai #business #businessowner #thediaryofaceo #work
AI should be a tool used in the right place within the business and not to throw money at AI software just for the sake of being an "AI led company"

Correct — AI is the plumbing not the product 😭

I use Ai for advertising my roofing and remodeling company and I've got work out for the next year. prior to using Ai, I only had enough work for a few weeks. So yes, Im making more money.

I built an app for contracting business then have a team of agents handling pm work, change orders, dispatch, book keeping etc etc. been life changing so far. Not trying to sell it just happy it exists.

90% of the shit people think AI should be used for is something that can be solved by simple code.

Spot on. Ai is just the hammer - customers only care about the house. Focus on the outcome, not the tech stack

Integrate AI into your business ONLY if it makes you more money not take it from you

I've been saying this!!! Just because you can doesnt mean you should. AI should augment the work NOT replace people.
